Lone Operator

This is me at Uni! I had an overnighter last night to properly start some assignments, and I was the only one in the entire building. Lucky that I am a Responsible Young Adult and nothing went wrong. However, I officially hate the Nord Lead, and am convinced that it has some sort of vendetta against me. I know that's it's probably because I don't know how to use it properly, but DANG! I managed to actually generate sound from it this time, but I couldn't get it into hateful ballsucking Cubase. This is the opposite problem that I had to the last time I was in there. For some incredibly dull reason, Pro Tools is refusing to run in that room.
Anyway. My brain went to mush at around 6:30 in the morning and I ended up watching Labyrinth in the plasma room. It rocked. Brain is still mush, though.

1 Backburblings:
Reminds me of a not-so-session I had in school. I booked studio time to coincide with a singer who flew in to visit from 3,000 miles away. After setting everything up, Pro Tools just wasn't in the mood to accept any input signals. I grabbed every teacher around, and nobody could fix it that day. I wondered if sometimes students were hacking (01001110 01101111 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01101001 01101101 01110000 01101111 01110010 01110100 01100001 01101110 01110100) to fuck things up for the rest of us. Anyway, I had to start my project over (they gave me a few more hours) and rush a Morricone instrumental instead.
