Firing Blind

How is everything out in the big scary world? Sometimes, one feels like a white mouse in an endless lab maze, trying to find the way to the cheese with the lights turned off. Occasionally, one starts wondering if there is any cheese. You can either keep blundering about, starving and banging into things, or you can curl up in a ball and wither away (missing out on potential cheese).
Me, I'm pretty sure there's cheese. A nice big round of camembert to snout into. I hope. And so I blunder. Hell, for all I know, there could be crackers as well. You never know unless you try.

Anyway. Enough of this talk about cheese. You can tell I've had a slightly stressful time when I start going on about dairy products.

Recording went well. It needs mixing, still, but that's all right. It won't need anything too flashy, I think. One of the vocal tracks is too squashed, that one wants fixing in a big way.

Oh, also...here is another one of my Stencil Magic pieces. No, I do not know what Stencil Magic is. It just popped out. Shut up.
Anyway. I took the image from Un Chien Andalou, for those that don't recognise it. I finished this one a day after I finished the Serge one. I quite like it!

Remember The Maxx? That was a good comic. And a pretty good TV show, too. I should get around to buying the TPBs, seeing as I have no idea what has happened to my patchy collection of single issues. Ah, the Liquid Television days...

Nothing else of note, or at least, nothing I wish to expose. Blah. Cheerio!

Aye, aye. I think I too am convinced there is cheese, Char. Sometimes the maze just seems a far more hostile environment than it lets on, with all manner of hidden traps and things. I guess it's easy to become discouraged... but we shouldn't, tempting as it may be: It would be quite horrible to curl up and expire right 'round the corner from an entire cheese factory, wouldn't it? Also silly and tragic and unbecoming.

The possibility of crackers is one I have never even stopped to consider! That potentiality intrigues. As long as it's actual crackers, though, and not just a gaggle of white people. I think that would be a sore disappointment. But I have confidence that if anybody can navigate that maze, you can. And you remind me it's certainly worth trying for. Sometimes I need a reminder.

Your shirt is fabulous. Charlotte! But you know that. Take care of yourself, and keep fighting off that cough. Cheers!

In order :

1. Good luck with the cheese. When you do find it please pass on the directions.

2. That's an awesome piece of Stencil Magic. Never ever stop using the term Stencil Magic.

3. Liquid Television ! I was just thinking about that the other day ! I remember hating Dogboy but I just found out that was by Charles Burns so I'm desperate to give it another look.
Oh and I'm warning you I'm pretty sure they never got around to giving The Maxx an ending. I could be wrong though.

Everybody loves Stencil Magic!

Possibly no ending to The Maxx, eh? Crisps! I suppose I shall have to find out. Did anybody really like Dogboy?

Elmo: A request for a shirt, eh? I will think on this. I'm sure something can be arranged, so maybe email me.

If anyone else desires Stencil Magic shirty goodness, also email me. I'd like to know if there is any more demand for this stuff. There's a linky thing on the sidebar, or if you can't see it/can't be arsed looking for it, it's charlotte.knight@gmail.com

I do have more in the works, so keep your eyes peeled, when they are done I'll post them in the blog and also in my Flickr account.

Cheerio, yabs!

I say tear the whole fucking maze down. But it wold be sad if there was no cheese to begin with.
